Kentucky Derby 2011

Come join us for this special Kentucky Event! If you want the full experience, come stay with us in horse country on a beautiful Country Estate. Like most inns and hotels, we offer our accommodations in specially priced packaged promotions.

We have packaged a three-night stay which includes:

• Delicious breakfast each morning
• Cocktails and Gourmet Barbeque by the pool on Thursday night
• Special Derby remembrance gifts
• And of course, all of the amenities you have been reading about…
  - Watch the Derby re-run in the full-room theatre
  - Take a dip in the pool or relax in our hot tub
  - Use the exercise room or take a stroll along all of the other horse farms
  - Or just simply, relax, read a book or do nothing!

Rates for this package are:

$1500 for the “Run for the Roses” and Filly (Philly) rooms

$1650 for the “Ascot” and “Turf” rooms

$1800 for the “Steeplechase Suite”

Plus applicable sales and occupancy tax (10%)

Derby vacation pricing is applicable May 3rd – May 5, 2011 . We request a 50% deposit at the time of booking with the balance due by January 31, 2011. Cancellations up to that date will be refunded less $100 to cover rebooking and credit card processing fees. Booking beyond January 31 require full non-refundable payment, at the time of reservation. We accept Mastercard, VISA, American Express and Discover.

FEI Games

We are planning some special events / gifts around this exciting and memorable event! We are located in the most beautiful horse area in the Louisville area and have all of the amenities you might imagine, just check out the rest of the Web site. In addition to the FEI events, you can bring your own horses and ride our beautiful private 25 miles of trails in L’Esprit. If you don’t have your own horse, we have riding stables near by where you can ride some well trained and behaved horses to experience the country.

Bluegrass Country Estate is a perfect venue for a group that is traveling together (we have 5 guestrooms with double occupancy for up to 10 people and if there are more in your group, another B&B nearby). Perfect for a longer stay so that you can experience Kentucky before, during or after the Games. We will plan a cocktail party and barbeque during the event based on the group’s plans.

We have a a different packages depending on number of nights (minimum stay of 3 nights). We can arrange for car service to and from the Horse Park at an additional charge and/or guide you to the closest FEI bus service location. If you are attending the FEI Games, then Bluegrass Country Estate is the place for you to stay! If you are thinking about renting a house, consider us…we do the work!!
